A. Resolution 2017-07 Opposing SB 1158 and HB 17
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA OPPOSING SENATE BILL 1158 AND HOUSE BILL 17 WHICH WOULD STRIP HOME RULE AUTHORITY FROM MUNICIPALITIES TO REGULATE BUSINESSES, PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS AND REQUIRES A SPECIAL LAW BY THE STATE LEGISLATURE REGARDING ANY SUCH REGULATION BY MUNICIPALITIES; PROVIDING FOR DISTRIBUTION OF THIS RESOLUTION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION.
B. Resolution 2017-08 Opposing SB 596
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES, BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA OPPOSING SENATE BILL 596 WHICH WOULD EVISERATE LOCAL CONTROL FOR FLORIDA CITIES WITH RESPECT TO TAXPAYER OWNED PUBLIC STRUCTURES AND RIGHT-OF-WAYS; PROVIDING FOR DISTRIBUTION OF THIS RESOLUTION, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION
C. Resolution 2017-09 – Redefining Veterans and Memorial Day
REDEFINING VETERANS DAY AND MEMORIAL DAY AND THAT THE TOWN OF PALM SHORES SUPPORTS THE BEYOND TRIBUTE INITIATIVE IN ITS EFFORT TO ENGAGE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC IN RECASTING MEMORIAL DAY AND VETERANS DAY AS DAYS OF SERVICE.
